What causes Failed Back Surgery Syndrome?
Multiple factors can contribute to the onset of Failed Back Surgery Syndrome. Contributing factors could be disc herniation, persistent post-operative pressure on a spinal nerve, altered joint mobility, joint hypermobility with instability, scar tissue and spinal muscular deconditioning. An individual may be predisposed to the development of Failed Back Surgery Syndrome due to other existing conditions.
